What happens next

We got it. Nia's on it.

Nia, our Client Care Coordinator, will be in touch shortly to answer your questions, help you find the best therapist, and get your appointment scheduled.
What to expect next

Three steps from here to your first session.

1

We'll reach out to you

Nia will contact you shortly — usually the same business day — to answer questions, help you find the best-fit therapist, and get you scheduled.
2

Get started

Your first session (or two, if you need extra time) is a thorough assessment — lots of nosy questions — an orientation to how things run, and a personalized plan for your treatment goals.
3

Rock your treatment goals

Then your healing journey begins. Your therapist keeps learning what works best for you and celebrating your progress. At treatment complete, our goal is for your life to be different because of your efforts.
While you wait

A few things worth a look.

Ready to set your appointment?

This step is optional, for those who already know who they want to work with. Either way, Nia will touch base to make sure your questions are answered.

Is it burnout or depression?

Many of our clients arrive with this question. Your therapist can help directly — in the meantime, this short quiz might offer some insight.

See our rates & sliding scale

We're a nonprofit, so cost shouldn't be the reason you wait. See how rates, superbills, and the sliding scale work.
Curious about EMDR?

Sick of talk therapy? So were our clients.

They want something that gets results. That's why everyone at Hope For The Journey gets EMDR trained. Yes, we do all kinds of other interventions — but EMDR is our jam, because it works.
